For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. It is well known that we are sinners, and that we must ask for forgiveness of our sins. If you’re following, it means that we must first confess them.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 (NIV)
Confession time. I have anger problems. Self-control, acceptance, healthy outlet, yes… all of those things, I have problems with. Because it’s easier to fly off the handle when someone angers me.
Because it’s easier to bottle rage up for later (explosive) release, rather than talking about it to loved ones.
I am going to seek help. Starting at church, because our church has many helpful programs including AA, coping help and addiction support groups, to name a few.
I’ll give it a shot. Maybe it’ll help, maybe it won’t. I’ve encouraged others for years who are afraid to seek help to do so, so why not me? Why not now?
