A Public Statement of Repentance

First off, let me start this post by saying that I have sinned. The Bible is supposed to be the final authority for everything that we do and I have not been following the word as I should lately. I know that while we are not a ministry, nor do we claim to be, as the primary writer on OneCross, I should be holding myself to a high standard of integrity and of following Christ.

I often use OneCross as a place to open up about faith-based answers to everyday situations, or to explain tougher biblical questions in my own words. A website takes a lot of time to maintain and I intend to continue to do so. I have no regrets. I aim to be as correct in my interpretations as possible from a biblical standpoint, however I feel that my recent actions have damaged my ability to write from the standpoint of a man of integrity and moral values.

I hope that you, the reader, will find it in your heart to forgive my transgressions. I’m taking a week off from writing to allow myself to find spiritual bearing on where my heart needs to be. Please pray for Danielle and I as we begin our process of becoming husband and wife. Thank you for reading and come back on Jan. 18 for the beginning of the series, “Our Living God.”
